The campaign to convince you that John McCain isn’t like those other Republicans has begun. Why, he’s practically a Democrat to hear him talk. He’s now speechifying about our dependence on oil, women’s rights problems and our broken health care system. And now appropriately, his Website looks suspiciously like the Website of a certain famous Democrat you might have heard of.

Too bad for him, John McCain voted with George Bush 95% of the time last year, and this year it’s a full 100%. He can talk about how he’s a maverick reformer all he wants. It just don’t make it so.
