In the most recent (and probably ultimate) Democratic debate, Hillary mentioned Obama’s connection with Louis Farrakhan as a political problem. The thing is, Obama has no connection with Farrakhan. Obama’s former preacher attended a few conferences at which Farrakhan was in attendance, but that’s the connection that Obama is currently being nailed about. It’s silly.
Nonetheless, [...]

The Evil Jeremiah Wright
I thought the Wright controversy was completely over, but I just heard a Democrat bring it up, so in the interests of being fair and balanced, here’s a photo of what Rev. Wright used to do when he’s not saying “God damn America.”
He was the surgical tech for LBJ.
And here he is as an honored [...]
An Obama Sign
I have an Obama sign in my front yard. It’s more Lily’s doing than mine — not that I have a problem with it. I am voting for the guy after all. I’m just saying that it’s not something I’d do on my own. It’s not as if Barack Obama is composed of pure awesome [...]
Hillary On Move On
Here’s what she said about moveon.org a few months ago.
Well again, I want to thank MoveOn for hosting the forum. And I also want to thank you for being such lively participants in American democracy. You started from the very fundamental premise that in our democracy everyone should have a voice and that [...]

“I think there is a big reason there’s an age difference in a lot of these polls,” [Bill Clinton] said. “Because once you’ve reached a certain age, you won’t sit there and listen to somebody tell you there’s really no difference between what happened in the Bush years and the Clinton years; that there’s not [...]
Remember Back When I Didn’t Think That Joe Biden Was An Idiot?
Ah, those were the days.
WASHINGTON–A prominent Senate Democrat on Wednesday said federal and local police should use custom software to monitor peer-to-peer networks for illegal activity, and he wants to spend $1 billion in tax dollars to help make that happen.
At an afternoon Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing about child exploitation on the Internet, Sen. Joe [...]
Oh Please No
Chris Matthews wants to run for Senator from Pennsylvania.
Chris Matthews, the guy who thinks there are two kinds of people, regular people and black people, the guy who blames 4,000 deaths on Bill Clinton in 2008, the guy who thinks that it’s hard hitting news reporting to tell America which politicians give him a thrill [...]
I’m Glad That Racism Is Over Now
Hey, Republican Congressman Geoff Davis of Kentucky, tell us how you would feel about a potential President Obama!
“I’m going to tell you something: That boy’s finger does not need to be on the button.”
OH ‘BOY’… — MSNBC
Sometimes there are subtle racist cues that politicians like to give, often called “dog whistle politics,” such that the [...]
Even An Olympian Can Be A Slacktivist
US Olympians began speaking out Monday about protests against China’s crackdown in Tibet and human rights issues, saying the best way for them to send a message is to win gold at the Beijing Olympics.
US athletes want to make statement with Beijing gold
Yes. The best way for the Olympic athletes to end China’s occupation of [...]
Whatcha Afraid Of, Barry?
America “has to talk to its enemies,” Obama said to applause…
He also quietly tried to link himself to former President John F. Kennedy, quoting the fallen president: “Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate.”
Obama: America ‘has to talk to its enemies’
“Sen. Obama does not agree with President Carter’s [...]
